Moving past A.S.S. to S.A.S.S. is one – but not the sole – reason for the addition of “S” to our A.S.S. The primary purpose is to broaden the scope of inquiry, hone the methodology of our research, and acquire a means of unifying expression. Hence S.A.S.S.
“S” has been added to the topic list, as well as to the acronym, because people are sensual, sensuous, delight-loving sentient beings, and any ideology that fails to embrace the fact that we experience life through our senses is going to have an uphill battle. S.A.S.S. is meant to honor and encourage the mind/body/spirit connection. (For those who are of a self-disciplined, ascetic bent, please feel free to continue on the straight and narrow right to the A.S.S.)
Excellent! Sustainability does not have to equal sensual deprivation!
