Like Porn, But Different

Art...

This is a compromise. Normally, I deplore compromise; it implies not getting my way (when I want it, and upon demand). But there are times when it is expeditious to compromise. Working with others (see “Society“) provides the opportunity (at times) to compromise. Practice, people, practice!
is like porn – only different. We all make it. Recognize it when we trip over it. Think about it endlessly. Have caches, tastes, collections, standards, and memories. Yet it is different, too. For instance, I always thought that Art required a performance or product.

Not so, according to some in attendance. “Art is what we say it is!” (Politely) disagree, all the while thinking, why can’t we go and stalk wild pussy or sleek cougars or elegant panthers and leave the art topic alone? I mean, what of the Bullshit Artists and the Piss Artists and the Con Artists? But I am trying to fit in and it seems a bad time to bring logic to the enterprise, just when we’re all on our best behavior and attempting to bond. (This is like porn, but… no, this is simply like porn.)
